Don Angelo - Coburg

We have been to Don Angelos many times but we came last week in Feb 2017 and found that a new owner had taken over 3 weeks ago... I decided to order my favorite at don angelos of gnocchi... I wish i hadnt!! It was chewy and leathery... So disappointing!... My husband had marinara and commented it was all sauce with two tiny shrimps in it... Our son ordered steak (7.30 pm) and after a while he was told 'sorry we are out of steak) so he ordered the chicken parma which under the previous owner he always found succulent and lovely).... He commented it was tough... We eat in coburg regularly (and many times at Don Angelis) but sorry we wont be back we were so disappointed.... The new owners & chef will have to pick up their act!!

I took a chance on Don Angelo's, unsure if I should go in. I was pleasantly surprised. I am a fan of Italian cuisine, but it can be difficult to find a good spot. Don Angelo's nails it! The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. I tried the lunch special, the chicken parmagiana, and a double espresso. I can't wait to return!

This restaurant is an amazing choice for a night out. The service is excellent and the food is outstanding, served with passion.

Lovely restaurant , Quiet and the food was great. Very freindly staff and the food was reasonably priced. I would definately eat there again if i was in the area.

Went to this place with group of four. Had the lunch special and the food is very good. Had pasta and margherita pizza and both are delicious. Service is good and price is reasonable.
