1627 Bar Restaurant - Coburg

We came here for drinks after dinner. The bar has a wide selection of drinks. The place was packed and very lively. Great place to hang out and chill with friends.

Once you are in Coburg you must go to this place. Quit short menu, but very delicious always. Friendly personal and nice ambiente

I have been walking by this place since weeks now. I always had a quick look inside through the big glass front. I was always tempted to have a try and couldn't make it for whatever reasons. I made it by accident a few days ago and was pleased overall. We had no reservations, which is not a good idea for most good places in Coburg, and just sat down at the high tables by the window. Overlooking inside as week as outside, we had some great cocktails. The kind of individual you won't find elsewhere in Coburg. The interior is modern industry loft style, with lots of wood making the place warm and comfortable. It's so cozy, that seating is actually quite tight, which makes it a bit less personal. Selection of food is not that big... But what you get is great and nicely decorated. Price tag appropriate but rather expensive for Coburg. They do have a bar as well, which is nice in case you need to wait. Staff is young, stylish, quick and fits the usual customers I would say.

The selection of food is small. but eberything is freshly cooked and very delicious. Teams tries to use regional food. Wine and beer is special as well and the provided selection well thought of. 1627 is a good reason to go back...
