Not the worst place I was, but it's what it is for this little town. the place doesn't look so great, but the food I got was good.
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was fast. I definitely plan on ordering from here again in the future! They offer vegetarian options such as beans and rice, vegetables, and meat-free meals. The restaurant also has a kids menu available. There is plenty of parking and the wheelchair accessibility is good with a nice sized ramp.
My husband and I visited this restaurant a year ago and have not returned since. The restaurant had an unpleasant smell and the service was extremely slow, even though we were the only customers there. The waitress appeared to be irritated that we were dining there, even though we arrived an hour before closing time. It was the worst service I have experienced in a long time. The food was decent, but it did not make up for the poor service and lack of cleanliness. If you are looking for great Mexican food with excellent service, cleanliness, speed, and atmosphere, I recommend visiting the other La Cabana location on the opposite end of town.
I asked my granddaughter to bring me home a Chiles Rellenos because I was feeling under the weather and couldn't dine out with them. Unfortunately, I was very let down by the dish. Instead of cheese-stuffed poblano peppers coated in egg and topped with sauce, I received a plate of ground meat covered in cheese. There were only three small pieces of pepper in the entire dish. I understand that we're in Georgia, but any true Mexican would not consider that Chiles Rellenos.
