Sammy's Trattoria Hunt Valley

The food is consistently delicious. The entire staff treats you like family. The bread and dipping sauce is the best I have had at any restaurant.

We mentioned in our reservation that we preferred to be seated in the dining room. Unsurprisingly, I had to advocate a bit to make that happen, as they informed us that there would be a wait, which was fine. Once we were seated, our waiter provided excellent service with helpful suggestions. The food was outstanding. What I didn't realize was that the noise level in the dining room is almost as high as in the bar area (surprise!). Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our experience at Sammy’s, even though it’s not a “quiet restaurant on weekends.” It’s quite noisy, but you can always count on good Italian food and friendly servers.

Christmas Eve was bustling at Sammy's, but the staff handled everything expertly and kept things running smoothly. The food is consistently excellent, and the drinks were delightful. I'm definitely a fan of Sammy's!

Service was good food was excellent but when we got there we were seated at a table where they were bringing in chairs and table from outside leaving the door open and we complained they closed it but open it again. it was a cold wind coming in. no one would do anything about it and our appitizer came and it got cold eating it. why couldn't they have taken care of the chairs and table prior to people sitting in the dining room??? and also the noise level was getting to a point we could not hear each other talk. and i was told they did something to help it??? get someone else to help with it.

Everything was exceptional. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, as the restaurant was quite busy.
