Buffalo Bill's Irma - Cody

Loved staying there because my daughter and I loved exploring haunted places. A couple of the rooms were supported to be haunted. But unfortunately, we didn't get one of those rooms. But it still was great staying in a hotel that was the old western type place, and was about Buffalo Bill.

Went to dinner here on the recommendation of a friend. The place is amazing (the bar!!! with a lot of history but other than that our experience wasn't great. I ordered the chicken fried steak which comes with soup or salad from the buffet. It took me a little while to get my salad as there were several people ahead of me. Was over half way through with my salad when the server told me they were out of chicken fried steak. I then ordered the pork chop dinner. My fiance made several trips to the buffet and was almost finished and I was still waiting on my meal so I told the server to just delete my order. She apologized profusely. Then we went to get a drink at the famous bar and sat there for a good 5 minutes before someone told us we had to order from the other bar and bring it back to the the main bar. It would be very helpful if there was a sign indicating this so patrons are aware.

Heard some good things about this restaurant, had to see for myself. Was seated and never saw a waitress, no coffee, water, or any type of drink offered. Waited 22 minutes, nothing. Watched our waitress take the orders from 2 other tables that were sat down after my wife and I. Real disappointing experience. This is for the restaurant only.

This rating is for the restaurant for breakfast only: the buffet is decent, not breath-taking, but also not expensive. So good value. One of the few places that made over-easy eggs successfully on the first try.

What an amazing experience rife with history. If you’re visiting Cody there is no way you can pass this center piece up. We had a wonderful dining experience with some delicious Prime Rib. The buffet is a must with their variety of wonderful gourmet selections. As for the rooms themselves I can not say because we didn’t stay there.Nearby activities: There is a shootout show, free of charge, directly outside the hotel that begins at 6:00 everyday save for Sundays. Don’t miss it!
