Proud Cut Saloon - Cody

Visiting from out of town, happy to wait for dinner and walked around town. Was an hour and half wait. Waited for dinner for an hour maybe longer. We were enjoying our drinks and atmosphere.. excellent server, was only her 2nd night. However, RUDE manager or owner to a table across the way who was not as happy to wait over an hour, RIGHTFULLY so. Was very uncomfortable and UNGRACIOUS to her customer including us. Would definitely not give my business or my time them again.

Prime rib had good flavor but was tough to cut and chew.

Disappointed.. I ordered the hand cut ribeye medium rare. The steak was done way more than what I ordered needless to say the steak was tough and dry, not much flavor. The server never stopped by to see if we needed anything or to ask how the meal tasted until it was time to pay. I expressed the steak wasn’t great, she could see I didn’t eat much of it. At this point I just wanted the bill and that took over 20 minutes to get. There seemed to be enough staff so not sure what the problem was.

Ive been on a 10 day trip and off all the restaurants ive dined in this was the best one!! Amazing food. This place knows how to treat meat! The onion rings- is a must. But the best part- the staff!! So nice, polite, patient and good people. If you heading to cody you must visit this restaurant.

Proud Cut Saloon was a nice dining experience. The bartender was great to speak with and the prices reasonable. When I ever get back to Cody, this will be one of my waterin' holes. CHEERS Y'ALL! ??
