The chips and salsa are obviously homemade and a great start to eat. In the first night I had a taco plate, one with shredded beef and the other with pastor. The aromas were incredible, especially the pastor who was the best I ever had. The flan was a good end of the meal. Because it was so good, I went back to the back nights, ordered a ground beef Chimichanga, a Chile Relleno and Chile Torreado (picture). They served the chimi with red sauce on the side, something else, but good because they did not make it so beautiful. The meat was nicely seasoned and delicious. The Relleno had green sauce, a good addition to the red sauce. Both were perfectly cooked and not fat. The buñuelos with ice was another winner. The food here is so fresh and tasteful, it is obviously made from family recipes, with the care only one family could do. Lourdes and Jose were friendly hosts and very friendly. My only disappointment was how empty the place was, this place should be packed every night. If you live in or near Cody, you will definitely lack if you don't eat here!
Tacos El Taconazo is the best Mexican restaurant on this side of the border! The food is authentic and fresh! The atmosphere is very clean. I would highly recommend this amazing, authentic and friendly restaurant. Have a good day and make sure to eat in Tacos el Taconazo Open 11am to 8pm
I love this place. My father loves the shrimps. So much food! I had chicken chimichanga and it wasn't disappointed. Owners are very friendly and great people.
Great staff and excellent food. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the building it is in xss, but it is worth the ascent to the stairs. Consistently good food.
Nice little upstairs place that managed to stay cool even in the summer heat. Staff is friendly and the food was delicious. We'd definitely go again.
