Del Taco - Coeur d'Alene

I actually had to revise my rating, because the cashier here is a thief. We had two different cars go through back to back on their Taco nights and the cashier accidentally overcharged both cars for the exact same thing. Both times he claimed he forgot to add the discount for their specials. Even when he corrected it the price was still wrong and I had to argue with him to change it to what was listed. I guarantee this guy is just pocketing the difference. This same scam has happened to me on the different occasions, always forgetting . I only use the online ordering now. Note: a different cashier just tried to double charge me for an online order, claiming the payment didn 't go through. I literally had to bring up the app to show it did

The food is good, just don't ever be in a hurry when you go here. The staff member who took my order sounded irritated when after taking my order he just have me a total and I asked him to read it back to me. He got it wrong so I am glad he read it back. I have to say they have the best French fries ever, 100% better than McDonald's

Everytime I come into this establishment your staff is fighting or sitting there talking about how we parents are giving our child diabetes bringing them to eat here so what I bring my kids to eat? You work fast food. Why are you making comments like that for customers to hear?! The girl with purple hair is extremely rude. Everytime I come in there she has her nose tuned up and is being snippy with me and my children. There is a girl there with a bunch of facial piercings with a boot on her foot, she is very nice to my family when we come in, she even gave us a discount after we heard the comments the Staff in the kitchen were saying, however you can see she is clearly overwhelmed. Due to all these thing I 've decided not to bring my children back to this establishment. They don 't need to hear the heavy rap and metal music or hear the fighting and cussing. They also don 't need adults being rude to them. Edit: came back a month later, tried again hoping it was better. Only difference is the lobby is now locked. After waiting 15 minutes in line I get up to the window and the staff is fighting with one another. Took another 15 minutes waiting for 2 tacos because of the fighting. Could have at least closed the window so I didn 't have to hear the arguing. I don 't understand why your staff complicates things. No point in coming back to this location. It 's a disaster everytime. Will take my family to the pf location. Seems like they have better management and staff over there. Definitely kinder.

Great place never too long of a wait I'm drivethrew. Most definitely ask for napkins and if u need a fork ask. Very rarely do I ever get both without asking. Great strawberry lemonade straws !!!!

The tacos are amazing! If you enjoy hard shell tacos, I recommend getting the $5 mini taco combo and adding two regular tacos. It ends up being 2 cents cheaper than the regular taco combo and you get 3 extra mini tacos. I wish there was a restaurant like this where I live.
