The burgers are always the best. Loves the spicy ketchup and mustard. Had a piece of delicious pecan pie, Hubs had coconut cream. We were never there when we had to wait to sit. They are mentioned for a reason in the best 100 burgers in the USA. Remember to bring cash as there are no card readers here.
Great local burger place that has been around 100 years. They focus quite on one thing and do this one thing really good.... make burgers. I really like the reasonable price for the food. We enjoyed our burgers at Hudson's, sat at the bar and were able to observe how they grilled the castle right in front of me.
I wish I could have taken pictures because the prices for everything increased by a few cents. Only cash, but the burgers are so fresh. Most people in the city say they are simple, but pimples, onions, cheese, hamburgers, ketchup, hot sauce and spicy mustard make these from my favorite burgers. The lemon balms and strawberry Rhabarbkuchen looked a few days old. I wish the staff could take the cakes home or donate day old cakes so that the moats could also have fresh, but that was not the case today. The good part of the day old cake is the crust softer, so its easier to ignore, but the meringue was mostly dissolved or dropped in the cake and the lemon filling was left. Free refills on soft drinks! The waiter was attentive and our son was very talkative. He told the waiter to carry the merchandise on the street, and that he should say that people are coming to get this big merchandise here. That made both the waiter and I smile because most people would think it's too crazy, but fun can look crazy.
Plain, simple, no frills burgers. And delicious. Go ahead and save yourself the time and order two to start. You’re welcome.
