Old School Liquor - Coeur d'Alene

First time in since they opened. We waited until they had a food truck. Taco Works super shredded beef tacos paired nicely with the cold draft beer. Not crowded, good service and nice atmosphere. We'll go back many times, I'm sure.

Old School Liquor bar is outstanding. For people thinking of checking the place out for the first time, please don’t be deterred by the older reviews. This location was previously a different bar with a less than stellar reputation. The new owners have completely remodeled the place. By completely, I mean gutted and rebuilt. The restrooms were not just revamped, they were torn out and built new at the opposite end of the building. Beautiful widows that used to be covered up are now exposed and provide wonderful natural light. Previously hidden brick work is now visible and adds a lovely country charm. The décor is western elegance at it’s best. The staff is engaging, knowledgeable, and makes a damn fine drink. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a roomy bar, pool table, darts and even a back deck where you can enjoy a smoke with your drink. There is a ton of parking and soon there’ll be a food truck out front.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time since its renovation, and I was blown away! The place looks truly beautiful! The atmosphere is fantastic, and there’s plenty of seating. Finally, a spot that offers an impressive selection of top-shelf liquors—I've discovered many great options here. The bartender makes sure you get a generous pour, and it's definitely worth the price. I've already told many people that I've found a new favorite place. It's absolutely worth the visit. I’m very happy!

Recently opened and well done!!! The service is excellent, and the bartender is truly creative! I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was served perfectly with a large ice cube. It's wonderful to discover a place with a fantastic, inviting atmosphere that feels genuinely warm and welcoming!

Old School has absolutely the best staff ever run a bar! My wife and I are treated like VIP from the moment we first go... I can't express enough how satisfied we are with this place... from the great atmosphere to the friendly service, it's all to be a fun place!!! I highly recommend it!
