The fried shrimp are some of the best I have ever had. I am from CA and I have eaten prawns from the Outrigger back in the day. They are some of the best in the world. This ranked right up with them. The fish was awsome. I am not a lobster roll connoisseur and I am not a big fan of lobster. The lobster roll with salted butter makes me order it only at this location. Lots of high school teenagers that work at the location. They are well trained and friendly. Finally the apple pie is always fresh and flakey but the onion rings are a no go. Parking: Good handicap parking also. Kid-friendliness: The kids live it.
This is one of my favorite restaurants! Now living out of state we still catch a dinner here whenever we come back into town. Highly recommend the fried clams or chicken tenders!
I recently found this place by getting lost and figured I'd go back this weekend with my kids to try it out. I'm glad we did. It was mostly a retro diner and almost everyone's hair was silver..... An old school type of diner. The food we got was good, not awesome except the fries..... They were the bomb; highly recommended. My kids both got fraps with their lunch which they enjoyed. Pricing seemed high on some items and not so bad on others, the employees were super friendly and the restaurant (we ate inside, you can eat outside) was chilly but not too cold. We'll go again, I want to try their ice cream.
The food is hot, tasty, juicy, fresh! the staff is great. the cook is just 100/100. Presence of a lot of cars in the parking lot always speaks for itself! people love this place for the atmosphere, comfort, the opportunity to quickly and tasty eat in the fresh air. the best in New Hampshire!
