My husband brought me for our Anniversary! It was a delicious meal and our waitress was super attentive. Our meals were all on the nightly specials menu but made me want to go back to try more!
Nicely done veal with a salad. Tender not over cooked lightly breaded veal that was pounded down to a thin culet. The salad with a light oil dressing that was slightly sweetened with red onions. Great atmosphere. I would come back again.
Chose this restaurant because they had great reviews and we wanted a nice classy place to stop and eat at while we were on the road. The food was okay but not what we expected considering the restaurant was categorized as fine dining and considering the pricing. The complimentary bread was old and dry, steak was cooked perfectly but came out cold and the truffle fries were premade frozen fastfood style fries that were dry and lacked seasoning, the chicken parmesan was good but the pasta was on the dry side and the sauce tasted like sauce from a can, very bland and runny. Again, though the food was okay and was not the worst we've had, its just not what we expected. Just a bit disappointing.
I rarely post reviews, but felt it warranted in this case before anyone goes to this restaurant expecting fine dining and receiving Applebees with a fine dining price tag.The restaurants ambiance and service are solid (though white paper on the table isn 't exactly a fine dining staple . Overall, that is not the issue here. The issue is the food.Every aspect of the meal was disappointing. Bread came out and was rock hard and clearly not fresh. Then came the $28(! charcuterie with a very meager selection available all of the cheeses were dry, no crackers just crostini which is code for ripped up toasted garlic bread no one wants to eat quality cheese and meat on garlic bread they want to taste the flavor of the product (if there was any .Finally, the $42(!! NY Strip that was not a NY Strip, but at best a piece of sirloin in the shape of a strip (more likely a cut of round . It was cooked over temp on one end and nearly ****** on the other, huge pockets of fat. It would have been disappointing at 1/3 the price. A fine dining establishment simply cannot charge $42 for a steak and provide a cut of beef instead.Everyone else at the table reported mediocre food as well. Definitely would not recommend.
