Northside Fish & Chips - Coffs Harbour

We picked up dinner from here last week and unfortunately the potato scallops were burnt and greasy and the calamari was very chewy. There were another 3 families with us and we are sure that the problem was the oil needed changing .

Fish and chips were amazing, being recommended and definitely lived up to the hype, suggest anyone going through here to stop and eat

Two doors down from our hotel this place supplied our dinner twice. Food was fresh and tasty and plentiful. The young girls were friendly and efficient and happy to accomodate my wishes. The prices are very good and the service quick.

After talking to the staff I went with their recommendation of the hoki which was in batter. It was tasty & a generous portion & the calamari was some of the best I've tasted; crispy, non oily & well cooked so not rubbery.Serves were generous & reasonable pricing at $10 for the fish n chip portion.My only criticism is that the chips were not good. Not bad but not good & an average chip for a fish n chip shop is almost sacrilege.

Best chips i've found in Coffs, reasonable servings & great prices. Great customer service. Visited there a few times during our 2 week stay in Coffs
