I stumbled into this hidden gem on my way out of the train station. This cafe-diner offers solid, wholesome, tasty meals at an amazingly inexpensive price. I had a five-course dinner for 12 euros. The portions were satisfying for any American who craves size in everything. On top of that, the wait staff was courteous, accommodating, attentive without being annoying or intrusive. the owner--or I think who was the owner--was just as friendly and helpful; he actually served the main course himself. If you want a great meal at an unbeatable price and enjoy excellent and polite service in Coimbra, this is the place to go. Almost across the street from the Coimbra train station. I would give it a 10 star if TripAdvisor had that rating. I can't compliment how pleased I was with the service, and the waiter speaks excellent English to help with not only ordering, but to help with my dietary requirements. This is the best example of an excellent restaurant, excellent service and excellent food quality.

We stopped here for a snack, and enjoyed s smoked salmon bagel, a salad with smoked ham and cheese, and an Estrella draft beer. All were very good and inexpensive.

We went with my friend and ate a sandwich, a pastel and a coffee. It was delicious and I recommand you the pastel. The staff is also very cool ! Thanks for this moment :

A honest equilibrium between price and quality. Of course is a fast food, but, good quality and with a lot of flavour!

Extensive choice of nice pastry. You can have it in the restaurant or on the terrace. If you have it to take-away, food is wrapped in a nice cardboard box. Nice bagels! Very friendly staff!
