Celeiro - Coimbra

It is a beautiful shop where you can buy vegan, vegetarian products and naturally organic products.

If in Coimbra, it is hard to find places where you can buy vegan products, such as Tofu or Seitan. Celeiro is the place to go for these products as it is actually cheaper than in supermarkets and has a greater variety. It is also a place where you can buy natural cosmetics, health products (all for people who are incompatible with gluten or nuts) and organic vegetables. The shops also have a café serving meals. The café service is impeccable as it has large coffee, and serves soy latte, vegan toasts and other treats. However, meals are usually expensive and of low quality. One way I often use is to eat only one soup and some snacks, such as croquettes or cakes.

Was there in June 2012. The shop is located in the large Dolce Vita shopping centre on the bottom floor. A very nice business with a large well-equipped product line you will find what you need. They also have vegetarian and vegan meals in the cool, and there is a very small café in the shop where they serve coffee together with several small vegan/vegetarian dishes, including cakes. The staff is very friendly and they speak English.
