Lovely staff, surprisingly nice fizzy tap wine, delicious fresh sardines, soup, salad, bread and olives all for €10 per person. A great find.

Wide selection of dishes available, we ordered the Bife á Chefe, grilled beef served with rice, fried potatoes, fried egg and salad and everything was amazing. Totally worth it.

We took relatives to this recently opened churrasqueira for lunch at 12.30 arriving. We sat right away and at the time there might have been a half dozen or so tables in this large capacity dining room filled with open kitchen. The staff were all very pleasant and our order was taken very quickly. The service was good until the restaurant began to fill when things slide a little, as the three waiting employees difficult to handle. When we sat down, there was already a basket of bread with butter and olives on the table. We all ordered from the diário menu consisting of the soup of the day, a meat (10 selection) or fish course (6 selection), dessert, coffee and a drink. As a driver I stayed on water while my table attendants enjoyed an excellent and refreshing Vinho Verde. The three of them were served a large carafe of wine. For the net we chose grilled robalo, a bitoque, a franchasinha and pichana. All freshly boiled and with one exception served immediately with a simple green salad, rice and fries or boiled potatoes with the robalo. For some reason, some of the pommes arrived when we were good at the meal. The choice of dessert was to follow fresh fruit salad, melon, chocolate mousse or guide cream and coffee. The meals were generously cut and well prepared and cooked. And the bill for this little lunch... Only €8 per person! Excellent value and we will definitely return in the future. Indeed, one of our parties is already planning to take his social club at noon. It should be said that one of the meat choices, Leitão and one of the fish choices, bacalhau à lagareiro, wore a €2 supplement. The churrasqueira is centrally located in the baixa and, while there are very limited road parking, there are four underground garages within three/four minutes walk.
