Fangas Mercearia Bar - Coimbra

We cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. we stumbled over fangas in our first night in portugal. it looked interesting, pretty busy. but we have asked, and they have shaken it. we ordered the “Four Tastes” starter plate (make sure they are. choose the server, which four tastes they enjoy and then the duck breast with beet and coward. I love duck, and I had never dug so well! I think they're pretty new, but they're a clear competitor. Give them a try, you're not sorry.

We have tried many vegan dishes and it was delicious!! The atmosphere was very pleasant. Very recommended!

A large selection of mouth water, imaginative tapas, large wee, perfect service (including courtesy guide how much the opposite of a tourist trap and reasonable prices to order. perhaps the best dinner we had in our last 8-day tour of portugal.

Small cosy restaurant with very helpful staff. Tapas options, we were advised to have six dishes between four people. Tasty food.
