Pedro Ines - Coimbra

This restaurant was in our hotel and we ate lunch there twice. The food was excellent as was the wine and service. If the weather had been better, we would have eaten outside. We thought the food here was better than the hotel's dining room, Arcadas Restaurant.

We booked in for their four course set lunch. It was delicious. I liked the fact that you could book the set lunch in advance with the option of substituting it with an alternative on the day.The attention to detail was impressive. The prawns were succulent, the mash potatoes with bacalhau were out if this world, the suckling pig just melted in your mouth and the pannacota had just the right wobble. It was pricey compared to other places but worth every penny. The atmosphere was relaxing, service excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent there. The wine list included wines from all regions of Portugal and also other countries. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place, food is delicious and staff are friendly!

The food was amazing and the level of service was beyond approach. I had to leave dinner suddenly and two wait staff decided to deliver the reminder of my meal personally to my room during a fairly busy service. It was simply above and beyond. Thank you.

An ideal place to eat if you are going to visit the gardens and fountains. We took the menu of the day, it was very good. Plentiful and tasty quantities. Good customer service and fast service (we asked you please since we were traveling). The environment is very natural and beautiful. highly recommended
