Taberna D'almedina - Coimbra

Uma ótima atmosfera para se ter

Tenho comido estes dias em vários locais de Coimbra (todos muito bons, aliás), mas este conquistou-me completamente. Os garçons falam espanhol, o tratamento é bastante próximo, são muito simpáticos e decididos. O local tem uma decoração vanguardista com elementos do interior português que valem a pena conhecer (as mesas montadas com máquinas de costura antigas são muito bacanas). Os pratos são requintados, é difícil melhorá-los; Recomendamos fervorosamente o bacalhau e o polvo, típicos da zona. A única desvantagem é que o cardápio de sobremesas deveria ser mais amplo.

Perto da rua principal, bom ambiente, comida caseira e vinho

After seating us the waiter ignored us for over half an hour. He set the table for at least 4 other tables that were seated after us and got them drinks, but he refused to even look our way even when scanning the restaurant to see if any one needed his help. When I finally did catch his eye he indicated that he would be over in just a minute and then proceeded to help seat, set the table and take drink orders for another new table. We finally left after nearly 45 minutes of waiting. I understand that the restaurant was busy and that service would take a while but it seemed that he was intentionally ignoring us.

Atmosphere was excellent, food was good but not more. Service was extremely slow. In short, we recommend it for the atmosphere.
