Armed with Google maps, my brother-in-law searched for "pizza" and directed me to this small take-away pizza place on the main road through the town.We ordered four pizzas and sat on one of the two rickety tables placed near the front of the restaurant while the chefs produced what I can only described and three pizzas topped with spam and cheese plus another seafood pizza with translucent prawns accompanied by what I think we meant to be muscles that had the look and texture of rabbit droppings. After a couple of slices each, we left.
On our journey back to Melbourne coming from the 12 apostles we were looking for a reasonable option to feed our empty stomaches. In addition a restaurant offering gluten free food was a must. After a quick search online we found Rock'n'Pizza in Colac directly located at the M1 highway on the opposite of the Toyota car dealer. The restaurant offers in-house eating and take away. After a quick chat with the chef we've ordered two pizza (one GF and one Non-GF) and the GF fish'n'chips.Everything was well served in about 15 - 20 minutes. The quality and the taste of the food was very good. If you like American style pizza you will love it. The fish'n'chips were great. Not dry and not oily.Unfortunately they haven't served some remoulade sauce for the fish'n'chips neither some majo sauce for the chips. This explains the four stars instead of five. However, the owner were very friendly, the food is great and the prices are totally ok. We've paid 38AUD and our stomaches weren't empty anymore. We would stop by anytime again. Thanks for the mousse au chocolate as desert!Susi, Susan and Thomas from Germany.
I went to order my grill pizza and found it speck with the chicken and the chicken was really bland no taste and dry, but chew like carton and the pizzateig was boiled and too much cheese over the.
Great pizza and helpful staff. very with food allergies. we have pick up instead of delivery and pizza lasted longer than advised time, but was worth the extra waiting.
We decided to deliver lunch on Sunday night and it took over an hour to reach us after it was said it would take forty minutes. eating was not very warm when it came here. the pizza was average and the apple crispy. was frozen. overall a disappointing experience.
