Good service but food was bland, under seasoned, over cooked and cold! If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Brightlingsea, go anywhere but here!

We happened to be in Brightlingsea and stumbled upon The Vines Bistro while looking for a place to have dinner. It was a Thursday and they were offering a steak dinner for two for £30, including wine. The value was exceptional and the meals themselves were delicious. It was a fantastic experience.

Our party of eight needed to change our reservation to an earlier time, and the restaurant accommodated us without any issues. Although the menu selection was not extensive, it offered a good variety. Everyone in our group enjoyed their starters and main courses, and those who had dessert were pleased. The staff provided excellent service, and the venue was clean. The prices for both food and drinks were fair. Congratulations to Vines Bistro - the people of Brightlingsea should be proud to have such a great restaurant in their town.
