The cleaning staff is praised, but the management is described as cold, miserable, and unhelpful. The reviewer also mentions a lack of respect for privacy, as indicated by ignoring "Do Not Disturb" signs. Overall, the experience was negative due to these issues.
This hotel offers newly renovated rooms starting at $69 per night. I stayed here for 3 nights at $109 per night. The reason? "We're the most affordable hotel in Cold Lake." The room was clean, but the hallway carpet on the lowest level was dirty and there was dried vomit on one of the stair treads. The area rugs in the lobby needed a thorough vacuuming. Despite signs stating the entire hotel is non-smoking, I walked past a room being renovated and could smell stale smoke, which polluted the hallway. My coffee maker didn't work, but they replaced it on the second day. For a hotel charging over $100 per night, one would expect at least a continental breakfast to be included...but it was not. Overall, this hotel was a disappointment.
This recently renovated motel offers restaurant and laundry facilities, making it ideal for both short and long term visitors. Attached to a popular sports lounge, it provides weary travelers with a great night out.
