Riverside Hideaway - Coldwater

We went twice, once for lunch which was great and the older waitress was great. We enjoyed the food. This time we went for early dinner, and they were getting ready for a party of 16 5pm. We were at one table and another couple were at another table. There were 2 younger waitress who were fine. We enjoyed the food at the time and we both had different things which were presented nicely and tasted good. But not sure if there was something off in the kitchen but we both got sick after we got home, which was not nice. But I had not had any thing to eat that day so it was not something else that caused it. But I am sure they did not mean to cause any thing wrong. They seem like nice people and after a bit will try them again.

This was the first time visiting this restaurant. Was impressed by the overall selection on the menu. Our party shared some nachos, which were so so, given the lack of cheese and the cold beef topping. It was only to get worse from here. Very disappointing indeed. Ordered chicken fajitas, which were probably the worst I've ever had. Lacked any flavour and there was certainly zero fajita spice added to mix. What's more the tortillas were tiny, stale and tasted like cardboard. My wife had exactly the same meal and she felt the same. It was really a shame, as the restaurant is in a fantastic location.

Interesting building. We were hoping to sit on the patio and listen to the river, but it wasn't open. Food was good.

The portions were excellent, the service was outstanding, and we had a fantastic Thanksgiving experience!

A wonderful find in Coldwater! They have a great selection, excellent prices, and delicious food. There’s no pretentiousness here. I’ll definitely be coming back!
