You definitely need to come to this restaurant because the cherry wood smoked ribeye is like nothing else. It is even finished on a wood fired grill. I can assure you, no sauce is needed.
The food was amazing. The boudin balls were outstanding! My husband enjoyed the fried brisket so much he overate. I opted for a brisket sandwich, which was tasty, but the Mac and cheese stole the show. The live band added to the ambiance, making it feel like a charming roadside restaurant in LA.
Walked in after church to grab some pork and buns to take home. Greeted by a gentleman smoking a cig. Said he didn't have to go boxes and would have to run and get us some. Asked what we wanted to drink and said we where going to be here awhile to which I stated we didn't have that much time and he snapped back this ain't fast food Keep in mind it's 12 o'clock and we are the only people in the building. I have spent many years in the bbq business and the only thing not precooked is potatoes fries so apparently he was going to smoke a shoulder for us. Needless to say we took are leave and will never go back.
It's a totally different take on bbq. I would highly recommend it.
