Chequers Fast Food - Coleraine

Total Rip Off, in fact daylight robbery. £4.80 for a very small bag of chips. Got 2 bags and did not realise until we got back how small they were. Actually I feel like I have been robbed 100%, well will never visit here again.

The cod portion at this restaurant was unacceptably small for the price, and was heavily coated in greasy batter. The chips looked unappetizing both before and after cooking. Despite enjoying good fish and chips, I will not be returning to this establishment. I complained during my first visit in Portrush and was refunded for the fish, but decided to give them another chance, which turned out to be a mistake. For better quality and more affordable fish and chips, I recommend trying Morton’s in Ballycastle. The staff at Chequers could benefit from more training in customer service.

The staff at this restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. They provided all the items we requested and the food was cooked to perfection. We couldn't find any faults with either the food or the staff.

Really poor chips today. The fish goujons were freshly cooked and lovely. Either the chip oil was old and not hot enough or else the chips were recycled and reheated. They were horrible.

Unreal food, friendly staff, value for money and massive portions to share. Would definitely visit again
