Ruth's Home Bakery - Coleraine

This traditional bakery, run by a family, offers tasty buns, scones, and bread at affordable prices. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A visit is highly recommended!

I stopped by to get rolls to make a packed lunch, but the woman working there said they don't sell rolls. I ended up getting a couple of scones that were discounted because they were leftover from the previous day (they were still good). There seemed to be a lot of items left over from the day before. There wasn't a wide selection of tray bakes, and some of them looked overcooked.

During an afternoon visit to Mussenden Temple, I stumbled upon a delightful bakery called Ruth's. After a disappointing search for good sodas and farls in Derry/Londonderry, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious baked goods at this tiny bakery. The scones, farls, and sodas I purchased were wonderful, just like homemade. I highly recommend making the extra effort to visit Ruth's and treat yourself to their tasty products.

This shop has a large selection of proper home baked breads cakes and buns. Very tasty would highly recommend a visit if u are in the area

Great scones and apple tart made fresh every day lovely staff especially roberta real food not the normal rubbish you buy in the supermarket takeaway tea or coffee
