Visited the tom tom in portstewart and suspect that it is the same owner as portrush. sourdough was dry and tasteless, more like a crumb. could hardly have been fresh and much better brote baked in the super markets.
This little bakery makes the most delicious brote, cake and gloomy. from traditional Irish pagan and white piles to extraordinary polierapfel pastries. service is really good, but patient as it is busy and only 2 customers in the shop at a time.
We wanted to try toms bakery for a long time, but we're gone after another person had reported their baked pieces to be almost as dry as if they were punctual. Anyway, we decided to have 2 hot sausage rolls. good £3.30 for 2 sausages. rolling are very expensive according to all standards. Local.y we pay £0.65 in barrs butchers for beautiful delicious sausage rolls, but tom tom tom’s were just about ok and the sausagemeat tasted nothing, very bad meat filling, although the baked was ok. would only be back if they stuck and had a lot of money, their sourcing rolls are much too expensive.
Very clean bakery, but let down by the blonde lady serving ... SMILE. Please. For the love of Portrush, funerals have more bounce. Nice buns though.
