I live right next to this place and I'm so glad that I do because this is probably THE BEST Chinese food I've ever had. You'll find me here almost once a month! However I'm not a big fan of the Mao pictures on the wall, but oh well.
I hardly ever write restaurant reviews, but this one was so bad, I felt compelled to give it a terrible rating. This should be one of the worst Chinese foods I've ever had, far from authentic. The food was overly salty, and the quality of the noodles was poor. The service was also terrible. The manager and another Chinese waitress were extremely careless and indifferent. The glasses were not washed properly.
Probably one of my top 5 restaurants for as long as I live. Every year of college (and now graduate school) I've gone here. Whether it was the savory beef noodle soup, the spicy and flavorful cumin lamb skewers, or even the refreshing kumquat lemon tea, my day always improves.I'll warn you that they don't play with their spice, but if you can handle it you'll have a meal to remember. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian optioms available but doesn't necessarily cater to vegetarians.
Ordered the chilly oil dumplings. I asked for non-spicy version and the chef replaced it with peanut-butter-garlic source, which turned out to be very delicious!
