The brisket had a delightful peppery crust, while the ribs were so tender they practically fell off the bone. The sausage had a subtle hint of spice, even though it wasn't the spicy variety. The turkey was cooked to perfection. While the sauce was a fantastic addition, the meat was flavorful enough to enjoy on its own. We also tried the cucumber salad, which unfortunately wasn't as impressive and could have benefited from a longer marination. It's easy to see why 1775 is receiving such wonderful reviews—definitely check it out if you can; it could potentially be the best spot in Bryan/College Station!
I was in town for a baseball tournament, and our coach recommended this restaurant. We ordered the sampler plate to get a taste of everything, and we thought it was really good. The atmosphere was very friendly too. They have a dessert called 'Banana Split Cake,' which isn’t actually a cake, but it's delicious!
Absolutely fantastic BBQ! The prime brisket was delicious, and the sausage had a great snap to it. We were fortunate enough to try the pork steak, and I highly recommend not missing it if you get the chance. However, the highlight for me was the Duroc pork ribs—truly amazing! Be sure to try the sides as well; their corn casserole was excellent! My family also gave it their approval. The loaded mashed potatoes were tasty, and the cucumber salad was very flavorful. The owners were incredibly friendly too. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating if you prefer to dine in. This place is definitely worth a visit, and I can’t wait to return!
The BBQ is quite delicious. Well cooked, and the BBQ sauce compliments the meats well. Their cornbread casserole side is to die for, I get it every time I go. The mashed potatoes side is also very good. Make sure and get there about 15 minutes before they open, or else there will be a line leading into the parking lot. But the food is worth the wait in line!
Really good brisket and pork ribs. Had to wait about 15 minutes in line, not bad. Price for 1 pound of brisket, 2 pound of pork ribs, 2 small sides and 2 bottles of water was $57.
