Contribuisci feedbackI absolutely love this place! I brought my son here to celebrate his Master's degree, and he mentioned that it was the best restaurant I've ever taken him to. The Italian food is fantastic and truly reminded me of a restaurant you'd find in Rome.
I am thrilled to see this restaurant open again! It used to be one of our favorite local spots before it was destroyed by a fire during roof repairs. Then, of course, the pandemic hit. They offer an outstanding menu featuring traditional pasta dishes, lasagna, and more, alongside some authentic Italian main courses such as fish, lamb, sweetbreads, and veal. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is serene and sophisticated. I highly recommend it!
Excellent! David our server was amazing. The food was all very good. Haven?t been here in a long time. That will change. Thanks for making our anniversary so special.
I ordered the lasagna, while my husband opted for the cannelloni special. We began with a Caesar salad, which was served with delightful bread and a side of olive oil and spices. The lasagna was perhaps the best I’ve ever tasted—made with green spinach noodles, sausage, and beef, complemented by béchamel and marinara sauces. Surprisingly, it wasn't overly cheesy; in fact, I wasn't sure it even had any cheese at all. The rich and delicious flavors were so satisfying that I didn't miss it at all. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cannelloni, filled with veal and spinach, which was simply divine! While a bit on the pricey side, every bite was so tasty that it was worth it. We concluded our meal with a delightful tiramisu and shared a bottle of Toscana red Sangiovese wine. We will definitely return! A highlight of our visit was the owner checking in on us and providing great recommendations. This restaurant has faced challenges, especially when their original location burned down before the pandemic, but the food and service were outstanding. The ambiance wasn't the best, but it was decent. Overall, I highly recommend Ruggeri's!
This restaurant is truly exceptional. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is the place to go. While it's not the cheapest option, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you receive. Be sure to order the soufflé when you visit; it takes about 30 minutes to prepare, and both the chocolate and raspberry varieties are absolutely divine. The owner, Morris Gambino, is a genuinely wonderful person. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend introducing yourself to him—he's the most genuine and kind-hearted man. A date night, including wine, coffee, and dessert, typically costs around $80, which is a fantastic deal considering the amazing food you get.
