A rude customer made things a little comfortable, but the waiter did the best he could given the situation. I definitely intend to go back when I am in the area again, and have it in the budget. Prices can be high depending on what you are ordering, but I knew that going in and felt I got my money's worth!
First time here. Moved to the area and checking out new places. We normally go to sushi Sam in Southlake because of the Buttery kiss roll. They have that here! So excited about that. We got here around 6pm which allowed us to order fast and be served fast. Although we got our food fast, we didn't get a water refill and he place wasn't terribly packed. Food was decent and we will definitely come back.
Awful place. The food is terribly overpriced for low qualify and customer service sucks. I went and had sushi and drinks during happy hour. One was good but the other was awful. The tempura in the rolls were chewy like they were old and the salmon was not fresh. The spicy mayo tasted like it had been left out and the wasabi had a brownish tint to it. Basically, none of the sushi is really made to order but it should be based on the price point. It was Tuesday and both the House wine and imported beer were on the board as discounted but they charged me full price. When I pointed it out that they were on the board at a cheaper price, she acknowledged that it was then started that..they needed to change the sign. I could've argued with them but it wasn't worth it. I just sat at the bar and typed this review. I should have heeded the other Yelp reviews. I will never come back to this place. And if you are smart, you'll try one of the other places in this shopping center. Or bite the bullet and drive a little further to Hanami sushi. They have Amazing and fresh sushi, with way more options. And they have wonderful customer service too.
Our go to spot for Bennihanna style dinner. Friendly beautiful restraunt. We've know Tom the manager for 25 years and he always does a great job making you feel welcome and at home. We really like the option to sit at a normal table or at the sushi bar also.
Terrible experience came for Hibachi and because I wanted gluten free soy sauce they wanted to cook it in the kitchen. Defeats the purpose of Hibachi I will never come here again. Didn't offer any apologies or anything other than an well type of response. Epic fail terrible terrible place
