Doug's Grill - Collinsville

Nice place and it seems like family works here. Nice young waitress who do a great job. Food is really good!! We get burgers, onion rings and roasted Okra. Only the problem is, it is a little expensive for diner fair. My family spent $40 for three of us. But we love the feeling of hometown and food is good, so we will definitely be back!

Whoo! Great meat pig, unless you're one of those who don't like meat pigs. In this case, they have a wide selection of other choices. If they had breakfast all day, I would have given them 5 stars as I was hoping for an omelet. Great service, the woman who served us convinced me to get 2 cups of coffee that really takes a little effort. My water was never empty. I really enjoyed this experience.

Excellent burgers in Doug's Grill. You have a good selection of menu items to choose from. Do not forget to order a piece of their homemade cakes. I recommend German chocolate! In any case visit again to try the chicken roasted steak sandwich.

The Hushpuppies, not good, the catfish was excellent! French pommes would have been better if they had cooked them extra crispy, as I demanded. My husband had chicken fried steak, said it was very good! Mash Potatoes n Gravy are okay. The Cole Slav was too big of Sherds, and very dry, no taste. Otherwise we'll try again.

This is a great little cafe for a home cooked meal, or a burger and fries. The service is great, the prices are good. They can accommodate a small crowd, or just one. The food is great, and portions are good.
