Silver Dollar Cafe - Collinsville

This wonderful little restaurant and bar in town serves fantastic food. The burgers are great, the Wednesday meat specials are exceptional, and the nachos on Fridays are outstanding. Valerie, the daytime bartender during the week, is incredibly sweet and attentive. If you find yourself in Collinsville, be sure to stop by. Their berries are excellent too! It's my favorite spot in Collinsville. Thank you for making a stranger feel so welcome!

Great spot for enjoying drinks! The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. As a newcomer, I can confidently say this place has quickly become one of my favorites.

My dad and I had burgers, and they were thick and fresh! The Pepsi was fizzy and refreshing. The sweet tea was a bit bland for our taste, but we swapped it for root beer, and that was fantastic! The fries were homemade and delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was perfectly juicy and well-seasoned. I added cheese and roasted onions, and it was phenomenal! Our waitress was very sweet and helpful in helping us choose our meals. We'll definitely be back!

Edit a reply: My husband didn't eat anything since he was gluten-free. My daughter took 1 bite of the gummy hot dog. The Hamburger came with Senf, whom we asked no one, and we did not take any of the rough dishes with us. Not sure why you are for the okra that your children's meal side. But thank you for the answer that makes our choice clear never to come back. I wanted to love her so badly. The water had a dirty taste both my husband and I noticed. My daughters, Essen, got messed up twice. The waitress took off the meal, but when we checked out the checkout, she accused us of eating for children, although the drink is included in the meal. I tried to explain to him that the meal was removed because it was wrong twice. He just looked at me and said you had a drink! So you don't want to pay for your drink! A drink we never had with the children's meal. Our meal lasted exceptionally long and we just really wanted to go.

Sweet Tea was disgusting, tasted like it was made with dirty water. Ordered the Hot Hamburger and it was not good. The fries were not hot or fresh tasted like dirt as well. The brown gravy on top was fine but the Hamburger patty needed seasonings and cooked longer.
