Zapata's Mexican - Collinsville

Dropped in for lunch and I'm so glad I did! They offer chips and salsa and the Shrimp Nachos paired well with a crisp beer. They offer a kids meal with generous portions as well!

We love the location in Fairview Heights, but after waiting for ten minutes to be greeted by someone we decided to leave. Several employees walked past us and other customers waiting but no one even acknowledge us. We ended up going across the street to Agavero and were meet with hospitality and our meals within 15 minutes.

Collinsville Illinois. Mexican Food at it's best. Fantastic Buffet every day.

Beans and cheese dip is grreeeat! The cheese sauce is delicious, not watery like at some other Mexican restaurant's! Thumbs up!

Food was ok, service was good. However, I noticed on my bill at the end that there was an additional charge for using a credit card. Excuse me? Not many people pay with cash anymore…most will pay with credit or debit. And they make no mention of the additional charge until they bring you the bill. No thanks. I wont be back.
