House Of Bagels - Colma

Decor was nice the customer service was bad how is this even considered “house of bagels “ when the whole taste is off and overpriced

I’m never ever coming back here. City priced bagels, rude and miserable staff. I asked for my bagels to be redone because it was cold. The short dude in the kitchen started walking around and mugging me like I was about to get to get into a street fight with him. The ladies inside make 0 eye contact. The cashier got no $0 tip from me because of his tone and slight attitude and lack of motivation. This should be a clear message to the owner so he can get his act in order. I cannot believe this place has a 4.3 rating. The design of the place is nice but no real surface to hand the order to customers. They just squeeze your order between two counters and a big jar. Here you go sir. If you what to charge $6 for an orange juice and $6 for a bagel, you better provide the service that goes along with it to make people regardless of being overcharged

This place is small on the inside but well decorated. It's very inviting when you enter. There's literally enough space to place an order and stand in line. On the other side, it's for doordash pick up, or you can stand and wait for your order. They are pretty packed when I've gone that the lines were out the door.People who take your order are super nice and helpful in recommending the perfect bagel to go with the breakfast omelets they have.We've ordered:1. Chorizo omelette This is very flavorful with an asiago bagel. I feel the fresh avocado overpowered it. Next time, I might get it with no avocado.2. Spam omelette This was an unexpected treat. Spam and teriyaki are one thing, but with the Sriracha aioli and the furikake. Man, just thinking of it is making my mouth water. He recommended the garlic bagel, and this sandwich was a flavor explosion in my mouth.3. Sausage omelette with asiago bagel Sadly, with this one, we were disappointed. All you can taste is the egg. With a few bites, you can taste the spice from the sausage, but you mostly taste egg.4. Bacon omelette with garlic bagel This sounds simple, but oh, so good. Perfect balance of egg and crunchy bacon.5. Pecan bar sweet, gooey, and crunchy crust.I highly recommend this place and can't wait to try more stuff. I saw they had macaroni salad, potato salad, and other stuff, but I had already placed my order. I'd want to try their ube cream cheese that everyone talks about.

One of the best bagels I've ever had, they are delicious and have a wide variety.

Ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. Came to $10+ including tax. Really disappointed and should not be charging that amount for a breakfast sandwich that’s made with Kraft cheese singles.
