Brasserie Heydel - Colmar

Has tables outside and in with quite good size menu. We had steak tartare which my partner was asked if he wanted to mix himself which was great. I had cordon bleu with munster cheese and ham and mushroom sauce and proper chips. Was excellent. Couple of beers and half litre of Languedoc rose. Very good value at 56E. Good service too. Lovely little place.

Brasserie sympathique, bien située et au bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel accueillant, nous y avons très bien mangé. La carte courte privilégiant le fait maison met en confiance.

We were in Colmar for the day and needed some refreshment mid afternoon. Spotted this bar in a quiet side street and as there were plenty of tables available, decided to take some drinks there. All very nice. When we passed by later, the bar was buzzing so clearly a place for the evening!

Bon restaurant, carte courte (ce qui engage le tout fait maison), prix correct, très bien pour les grandes tables.

Down a small side street away from the madding crowd, this restaurant/ brasserie is open for lunch and evening meals as a bar and also serves good breakfasts at reasonable prices. Quiet street, pleasant surroundings, nice decor. Looks as if the brasserie would be good at night for drinks.
