Pizzeria San Remo - Cologne

We booked this restaurant while in Koln for our anniversary. The booking, made from Manchester was easily done and when we got there we we treated beautifully. Great starter and desert. My pizza was a little tough but tasty.

Definitely an unusual style of decoration with a large zebra hanging from the roof. This is genuine retro with great value Italian food. Antipasti choice...

For a Pizzeria, their pizza dough wasn't very good. Toppings were ok, nothing special.

The venue is located near the hansa rings, another central location. the restaurant is distributed on two levels in an open setup, typical of the modern restaurant architecture of the menu standard Italian cuisine. we had the antipasto italiano, a plate with various ham and sausages that was delicious. I had the speciality of the house “Gambas alla Michelangelo”, which was not the contract I expected, it was actually garnel with tomato sauce, with a little bland taste. the wine was in order, the service also.
