Les Voiles by Geneve-Plage - Cologny

I am extremely shocked by the customer service by the security in this place. It was the closing party, so already we were expecting a later closing or at least a bit of flexibility. At the entrance they were about to refuse my friend and...I, saying that we could go in only if we had a reservation or a table. At the end they let us in, but this was already a horrible greeting. They told us it was closing at but at everything stopped and we were literally kicked out by the security, who didn’t even ask us in a nice way to start making our way out, they just spoke to us in a very rude way and told us to leave!! We kindly asked why it was closing so early and they didn’t even answer and just told us it was time to leave. We headed over to the bar to say goodbye to the bartender who served us and the security came immediately to us telling us we were not allowed to talk to the bartender and that we had to leave straight away. We explained that we just wanted to say bye and he refused to let us do so. At the exit we stopped to talk to the staff who were giving us plastic cups to put our drinks and they were the only ones being nice to us and they stopped to talk to us. A security guy came straight away yelling to the staff member that he is just an intern and his job was to stay behind the desk and not to talk to anyone, while my friend and I had to leave immediately. I would like to point out that it was only on a Friday night for the closing party that was supposed to finish at I am very shocked at the service we received. I know security is not famous for their kindness and they are mostly all very rude, but this treatment was unbelievable, especially for how expensive this place I s. As a regular guest of this place, this is the last time I will be coming and I will tell all my friends to do the same. Very disappointing For a beautiful place like this.

Empty tables at and they sat us at the bar on plastic uncomfortable stools... while before for to when we left because you don’t want to spend so much time like this the place was half empty... maybe thinking about finding...more comfortable tables will make the clients wandering to spend more instead of run out as fast as we can?

My friends and I had dinner there yesterday at Two of us arrived on time the other ones were ten minutes late. The reception lady told us that she would give our table away if they don't show up very soon because there is...another reservation at nine. Then we had to wait minutes on our table until they finally asked what we want to eat and drink. Half of the stuff we ordered never arrived. By nine of course we weren't finished eating and drinking. By a nice waiter told us he would organize us a seat at the bar so we can finish. Then the lady from the reception came and told us to go in a very rude way. I explained to her that one of her colleagues is organizing a seat for us at the bar. She said that this is not possible and basically kicked us out. Very rude, unfriendly and inefficient service. They are not on the same page and tell the costumers different things. I never was treated like this in a restaurant. I will never go back there again. I went to Les Voiles the last seven years and I never experienced such unfriendly service. Maybe they changed the team. Anyway it is not working.

We have been twice and each time the service has been rude, disrespectful and shockingly arrogant. It is absolutely a puzzle to me how staff can treat clients in the way that they do here. This used to be one of my favorite summer spots...but I won't definitely return be returning here.

It’s not the first time I had been there. Now that they changed the setting, here are is the feedback: Food was disgusting, not mentioning the price you’re paying for it. I don’t mind paying a premium in a premium place. But it was...disgusting, except the beef. They brought us food we didn’t even order and made us pay for it. And when we told them the order wasn’t ours, they acted aggressively and didn’t even consider the complain. We had a minimum spend, which we paid on arrival. And if people were ordering anything for themselves (food or cocktails), they would need to pay it separately. This is what we did and surprise, everything we paid during the evening still ended up in the bill they ordered us to pay at the end. They didn’t want to hear anything either. We’re still trying to get a refund for this, and they are very uncooperative. The new setting is bad. Before you had the DJ in the middle and everybody was dancing around it. Now they’ve put it on the side, while lowering the sound a lot. Which means that you’re not even getting hyped with the atmosphere and don’t feel like dancing at all. They just added a ton of tables to squeeze as many people as possible, both physically and financially. For all these reasons, I highly don’t recommend this place. It used to be cool, now it’s not anymore. It was my last time there for sure.
