Cafe Island - Colombo

It is not value for money. The food is very good and the staff is friendly. However, the place is really awful. You go to a cafe not just to eat, but also to relax and hang out. You cannot even see the cafe from the road. You have to walk through the side of the building, and the cafe is just nothing else but shabby wooden chairs and poor deco. You really don't feel like you are in a cafe. However, the prices of the food is equal to trendy cafes in Colombo. The owner should seriously move the cafe to the front of the building and design it in an appealing way.

A new coffee joint in town. The deco is aesthetic and simple. He staff are very friendly. The prices are in par with other coffee places in town.

Food is amazing and coffee is of the charts,definitely gonna come back soon! Sandwiches and key lime pie is highly recommended

Unfortunately, this cafe is hard to find and has a dated and uninviting appearance with only old wooden chairs and subpar decorations. The prices are on par with other trendy cafes in Colombo, but the owner should consider relocating the cafe to the front of the building and updating the design to make it more appealing.
