This is a very goid place get your chocolates in Colombo. The chocolates are delicious. The choice is also good.

I went to Gérard mendis to buy some chocolates with my friend who wanted to get some for his business meeting the following dy, because I raved about the quality and how yummy they were he wanted to go there to buy them, we arrived with so much excitement but our enthusiasm was squashed due to the service we encountered, the guy who was serving us was rude and so Impatient and that totally threw us off. I was so shocked that such a upmarket place with such unique products were left to be attended by such inexperienced bunch of boys, its such an unfortunate experience and that bitter feeling will stay with us for a long time to come. So I plead with the owner of this beautiful establishment to relook at the staff he has hired to sell these very amazing products, if you can invest so much on the product you make please do consider the people you hire to sell them, at the end of the day they do represent your product as well.

I recently visited the Gerard Mendis Chocolate shop. It is a small shop with a nice range of Christmas Goodies and chocolates. I bought the Christmas cake which was delicious. Worth a visit if you are in Colombo. Easy to find but a bit expensive.
