It is a peaceful spot to enjoy delicious ice cream. The in-house ice cream base is not overly sweet, which I personally enjoyed. This allows the other flavors to stand out. Be sure to try the chocolate feast. If you love bananas, be sure to try the funky monkey flavor.
The restaurant neglected safety measures by allowing customers without masks to approach the area where the ice cream rolls are prepared, despite the limited space. It's unpleasant to have others without masks peeking at your food. Additionally, there were errors in order delivery. The staff should be better trained and follow national health guidelines.
This is a good place with friendly staff and reasonable prices. It would be great if they could add some more flavors of ice cream to their menu.
I got the brownie cheesecake for around rupees. It tasted neither like brownie, nor like cheesecake. There was whipped cream of top that was equally tasteless. A little disappointed.
I attended Jam rolled ice cream in Horton Place. Me and my friend ordered one cup first to see the cashier lady said she did not have change to give me. Since it was just LKR i just said okay. Then we ordered a second cup and paid the amount along with a rupee note. Still she said she’s out of change to give me the balance of when clearly she had a rupee note i gave her. She was supposed to give me a total of LKR. Then i wanted one more to take out, surprisingly this happened again and she said she has no change to give me! This is absurd! Not having change once is alright. But this happened all three times. If they accept cash payments they should have sufficient change. Not like people always pay by card In total she owes me LKR, true it’s not a big amount but my question is, will they ever give us our order if we say we are short of LKR from the due amount?
