I think they have an extensive menu on weekdays, as was a Saturday today, they had a very compact simple menu. we ordered the bao roll a swarm and a tofu both were really good. then ordered a cappuccino I think the coffee was a in house mix it was really good. for the net I tried to make pork set menu there and my wife was a vegetarian on this day, she had not much to choose and had only two options, the Thai green curry menu or the Singapore curry, and finally went with the Singapore dishes. they can check them on the photos. the dizzy was good, but not the best, but the Singapore courses were very embarrassing and my wife didn't cost much. because the complete menu was not available, I cannot judge overall, but based on the menu we had, it was decent not bad and not too big. I would rate this place 4 5 but the environment was pretty cold laid and relaxing. I don't think it's a regular place for me and I wouldn't be happy if it's gonna happen. because there are so much better options in the same remixes as kuuraku or chambers, but I don't like a monsoon. However, I can recommend the place as quite cooler place.
Monsoon colombo has a pretty impressive menu. it has also attached a bar to it. the restaurant itself needed to store as we do not find it clean and tidy. many colors peel the walls (I guess that happens in monsoon). Eating was only average. we ordered pork and they were only in order. (there are better places for pork chops in colombo). the Vietnamese rolling was only average and so was the Thai Papaya salad. I would give him a mistake if I had the choice.
Went for happy hour, which was quite worth it. buy a free and the drinks were delicious. we were dinner and all we had was good, the portions were great enough to share. the service was excellent. a little pricy, but it is worth what they get
Waiters understood what vegan meant and checked with the kitchen to be safe. I was thrilled to try the black pepper tofu based on other reviews, but the waiter was sure it contained butter that could not be removed. He confirmed that the padthai could be made vegan, and it was really good. It comes medium spicy so if you are sensitive to spicy foods, you want that. I also had the pineapples Chili Margarita, which was delicious. Ambiance was nice, they had really good live music!
Really delicious restaurant and most employees know what vegan means. I have the official list of what can be made vegan. The black pepper tofu is the absolute BEST! The Gado Gado is laborious, literally raw veg in a bowl. Soups and salads: 1) Som Tum Papaya Salad (originally it is not a vegan dish, but on request we can do it without shrimp paste and fish sauce) 2) Gado Gado Add to wish list 3) Vegan Vegan Goong (Original is not a vegan dish, it must be requested as a vegan dish without shrimp and fish sauce) Plates/Start parts 1) Goi Cuon Rolls Vegan 2) Black pepper Tofu Vegan net: 1) Phad Thai (will be asked to vegan) 2) Tauhu Bakar Vegan 3) Long Vegan vegetables
