Tea Avenue Jawatta - Colombo

I had high hopes on this place while everyday I pass this place to and from work. Today I happened to attend something in the morning without having breakfast. On my way back home I hopped in here for late very late) breakfast. Place is so charming. Neat and lovely. But the staff is not warm and friendly. Anyway I ordered a plate of American Breakfast and caffe latte. So sad! My coffee was warm just warm, not hot! Here came my breakfast after sometime. (it took extra long time) And, there were sweet pancakes. So obviously I asked for maple syrup or honey or any sweet fruity topping. They said, no they don’t serve any syrup and I was asked to eat my sweet pancakes with a small cube of butter which was served with the plate! I don’t think this place offers dishes for the value. I’m disappointed because I’ve been longing to visit here and keep this place as a hangout place with my friends. Not anymore!!

Has shifted to the new location Sufficient parking Sufficient inner space and even few tables chairs to meet your comfort level Only worry was, the table we sat was not fully prepared to welcome the customer and water was sprinkled on the table (previous customer), where we used our own wet tissues to wipe them off.. I doubt whether they use sanitiser to prepare the tables chairs prior to next customer visit Pl be kind enough to maintain the safety measures and make it a wonderful space for people to enjoy.

Paprika and Signature Chicken burgers are to die for. I loved every bite Chocolate milkshake is very rich and very good Would definitely go back.

I was there for the time and it was for a official purpose. Location and inside environment are nice and more relaxing. It has a parking, so the customers can park their vehicles. We have used a meeting room too and it had all the amenities as we have expected and the room is too silent. I think their customer service is good. Taste of food and drinks are good and worth for the money Overall experience A better place for relax or work or chill

One of the most popular coffee/tea places around Colombo. If you are a person who cares about the presentation of what you get, make sure to call and ask whether are they capable of doing that. I visited there during a time where travel restrictions were not fully lifted, due to the regulations they provided food and coffee in a package similar to how they deliver food when someone orders online. Other than that this place is definitely a good place to have a visit.
