Slider Up - Colonia

I found SliderUp when I was browsing Yelp for sliders (since I had a random craving for them one night). We were running some errands in the area the next morning so we decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat. This was actually my first outdoor dining experience in New Jersey! We hadn't planned it but it was 2 pm and we were starving, and there happened to be empty tables in the lot, so we went for it. They're known for their $1.50 hamburgers, as advertised on their sign outside, but I need cheese. I had a cheeseburger and a double-up, and my husband had a double-up and a Jersey burger, which is a cheeseburger with Taylor ham/pork roll. The sliders were a bit on the salty side, but it was still pretty good. The Jersey burger was not worth adding 75 cents for a super thin slice of pork roll because you could barely even taste it in there. We shared an order of the fries with black truffle mayo, which were not bad. I don't love hand-cut fries because of the potato skin but if you do, you'll probably like the fries. All of this was enough food for us, since it is pretty greasy (expectedly so). My only other complaint (burger saltiness aside) was that the soda was 70% ice. While I don't think it was better than White Mana, it still satisfied the slider craving and I would probably come back if I was in the area.

Such tasty flavorful delights! Good beef cooked perfect great fry dipping sauces...so glad I found another gem. The team including the owner are down to earth. Drove 40 minutes and can't wait to go back!!

Pretty good place. IMO there are a few things that I think would make this place a 5?... First I'd like to see more onions cooked into the burger. The onions are sorta stringy and some people may not like that, they do tend to come off in one big clump or sorta hang from the bitten area. I also think the burgers would be amazing if served on a plate especially with a hot serving of crisp fries underneath them. They tend to get a little mushy and messy looking for a lack of a better word). They made hold up better in deli paper or waxed paper as opposed to foil. Just my 2¢. But they are tasty.. I'd eat them again.

Slider Up is fantastic! They offer classic, fresh hamburgers and cheeseburgers at unbeatable prices. The double burger is excellent, but I personally love the single cheeseburger for how easily it goes down! Getting takeout from Slider Up has become a weekly tradition for my family, and I couldn’t recommend it more. It fills all three of us up for under $20!

Wow, the burgers here are incredible! Everything is made fresh to order, and the aroma that fills the restaurant is absolutely inviting. The staff was excellent, accommodating all of our needs. The prices are very reasonable as well.
