Chanello's Pizza - Colonial Heights

When I called, the woman who answered seemed uninterested and indifferent. I ordered a small chef salad and a 12-inch meatball sandwich. To my surprise, the meatballs were cut in half, and the sandwich cost $14. For that price, I expected whole meatballs. I could have gone to Wawa for the same thing for just $6. It felt like they were taking advantage of me since I'm from out of town and staying at a hotel. Unfortunately, we don't have many good Italian restaurants where I’m from, so I thought I'd give this place a try. I was mistaken; next time, I’ll just go to Wawa instead.

I typically don't write reviews, but I feel the need to share my experience today. I placed an online order from Chanello's at 11 PM, with an expected delivery time of 11:45 PM. When I called to check on my order status, I was informed that it would arrive 20 minutes later than expected. Ultimately, my order was canceled without any prior notice. The store manager was unprofessional, and I felt she was racially profiling me. She refused to provide her name, and when I called back to inquire about the cancellation, she claimed it was because I was paying in cash and hadn’t paid for the order. Just a heads up: if you plan to pay with cash, I recommend not ordering from this Chanello’s in Colonial Heights, as you may face judgment.

The pizza here is fantastic; I just wish there were more options on the menu.

OMG I just got me a greek salad from here and it was so good it didn’t make it in the house and got a burger from somewhere else to go with it and when I tell you I crushed that salad it was as good as it looked good job I’ll be back for my salad from here again!!!!

Placed an order at 730, called at 845 to check on status as we were quoted delivery from 810 to 820. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and said they only had one driver which is understandable but there was no need to be rude about when we were more than understanding. Will not be ordering from this location again.
