Black Forest Bistro - Colorado Springs

AMAZING dining experience. From Tammy who greeted us to Johanna our server everything was top notch. The food is INCREDIBLE! The chef’s use of spices, textures, freshest ingredients and plate presentation is the best we have seen and tasted in Colorado Springs. This gem is in our backyard and we most certainly will be back many times. It was our anniversary and they made our celebration SO special. Some of little touches they do like the cold forks for dessert we have not experienced at even the highest rated restaurants. As soon as we got in our car my husband and I both said that in our 32 years of anniversary celebrations this by far was THE BEST dining experience we have ever had! Food is absolutely amazing. First time going and first thing the server told us was Shes by herself so she asked for extra patience tonight . I realize thats not really her fault, but also threw us off right away. It did definitely take forever to get drinks and food orders, im hoping that isnt a common thing. Food is delicious though. This has so much potential. I ordered a dish that was spicy, but it was so spicy no one in our party of 4 could eat it. The waitress was “not going to tell the chef” we paid the $42 for the dish, but really feel we should have been compensated for the dish.
