Get the chicken soup, it's amazing. I would definitely return to this place as I have done a few times. It seems a little expensive and I don't remember seeing a lunch menu that would normally be a little less expensive. The first time I ate Carrabba's was in Henderson, NV and that was when I was hung. I set up this restaurant near my list.
Our party was welcome by a very pleasant host and accompanied to our table then the waiter came to the table and he was very pleasant and the food was good!
It was in walking distance to the hotel, it was under reconstruction. We had to wait 10-15 min, not because it was busy, but because they couldn't keep with busy tables. Food was on average here. Service was nice and attentive. Bathrooms could have been cleaned better. I recommend this location everywhere. Especially if you are in a nearby hotel and don't feel like driving.
We had the meatball and Ricotta appetizer. It took only 7 minutes to get it to my table. So his likelihood that it was staged before (proposed). Still tasted good. The tomato sauce was delicious and had no tomato pieces (which I hate) and went down quickly. The reason why is not a 5 star because the bread edge, while usually crispy cooked was strange crispy, but stale. A good 1 centimeter from the outer crust inward was stale (not freshly made). When I come back, I would have checked the bread first, and if it still stabbed or hardened along the edges go ahead and ask for another. (That was a portion of two breads, not just one. Both were in the same form) I'm not sure if it's too long or has been suggested wrong. A little down since I'm a bread lover.
Okay, the waiter had crusted blood around one of his fingertips, definitely a turn off. I love the open kitchen. They seem to be doing some remodeling inside, it felt random and unappealing. The food was okay overall. We were not greeted when we came in for lunch at about 1pm. It took a moment before a waiter came over and seated us. The Prickly Pear was oddly purple, and tasted more like a regular margarita and it’s a very subtle hit of habanero. I got the pomegranate martini and it was good. The bread was warm and good. The Zucchini Fritte were soooo good! Lightly breaded, fried they could have passed for french fries. We shared the Chicken Marsala entree, we ordered an Italian side salad and mashed potatoes as our sides. The Chicken Marsala was ok, the chicken or the gravy had a bit of that plastic taste, like when somethings been stored or cooked in plastic… I wasn’t too impressed with that. The salad was simple and ok. The potatoes were good and a nice compliment to the Chicken Marsala. I was a bit disappointed we weren’t offered cheese on anything. And to be honest I haven’t been to Carrabbas in so long I don’t even know if that’s a thing they do. My mom (who I had lunch was with this day) seemed pleased with everything. I don’t think I care to return.
