Colorado Mountain Brewery

Colorado Mountain Brewery offers delicious food and a fantastic selection of craft beers.

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the food was quite enjoyable! However, our server didn't mention the happy hour specials, which led us to order the larger beer size that wasn't included in the happy hour deal. After we placed our order for appetizers, she informed us that the cup of Buffalo Chili Queso (which was delicious) was part of the happy hour, but the bowl was not. I also felt that we could have been checked on more frequently during our visit. On a positive note, both the restroom and the dining area were very clean! Overall, the staff was friendly, the food was good, and the view of the mountains was lovely. I would definitely recommend this place.

As has happened in the past, I was initially offered a seat at the bar, whether I was with my husband or alone. As a 61-year-old woman with visible mobility challenges due to polymyalgia rheumatica and rheumatoid arthritis, sitting on high bar stools or unpadded chairs is quite difficult for me. I politely declined the bar seating. Next, I was shown to a table with hard wooden chairs. I asked for a booth since they provide padded seats and backs, which would be much more comfortable. Initially, this request was refused despite the restaurant being nearly empty. After some time, I was finally seated in a booth. When I left, I turned to the hostesses and cheerfully said goodbye. Unfortunately, I was met with glares and no response. I repeated my farewell and, after a brief pause, received a begrudging reply. For context, I always tip generously—33%—and my bills typically exceed $50.

The food was not that great. The margarita was good but very small and over priced for what it was. The portions were also small.

This place can ALWAYS be counted on as excellent in all regards…even the view!
