Ihop - Colorado Springs

We placed our food order at 5:30, and by 6:15 our food finally arrived. Unfortunately, one of the three burgers we ordered was overcooked to the point of being burnt. It seemed like our waitress may have been preparing our food herself, as the restaurant appeared to be understaffed. The coffee we received was stale and extremely potent. The French toast was the only highlight of the meal.

I didn't have high expectations for IHOP, but I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly waiter and nice location. Our waiter, TJ, was very organized and polite even when the restaurant was busy. I visited during breakfast hours, from 7 am to 8 am, and the cook, a lovely young lady, prepared warm pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and ham for me. The condiments were just right for me and my partner to enjoy a sunrise breakfast. Despite being short-staffed and having only one waiter, TJ did an excellent job and our food arrived within 20 minutes. He was attentive to our table as well as to the others, showing empathy for the wait times. TJ is definitely an asset to this location and company - he deserves a raise for his exceptional customer service. I also want to thank the cooks and TJ for the great service, as we had come all the way from Chicago. This location could use more staff, as it is a lot for one waiter/waitress to handle all the tables at once. Overall, I appreciated the cleanliness and polite service at this restaurant.

With 60 years of experience in creating mouthwatering meals and desserts, this recently opened IHOP has mastered the art of delivering exceptional dishes. The portions are generous, the service from the wait staff and cashier is exceptional, and their chocolate chip pancakes are truly a treasure worth seeking out.

I would like to request fresh, peeled eggs instead of them being served with my meal at IHOP. This makes me question the quality of the eggs being used. I expect to be served with fresh, real food when I dine at IHOP. The service was great, but the food lacked the quality that IHOP is known for. I will give them another chance, but I hope they start using real ingredients. I understand that using fake or processed eggs may be cheaper, but it's important to me to have high-quality food.

The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I didn't have to ask for anything. The food was good, typical of IHOP. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. I enjoyed my breakfast.
