Kneaders Bakery Cafe - Colorado Springs

Dear, dear, we visited this place for its delicious food today. The soup was just average—only a 3-star experience—and the sandwiches were slightly better at 4 stars. However, the domes and eclairs were absolutely fantastic, earning a solid 5 stars from me. I tried to use the app but couldn't register, so maybe I'll give it another shot later. We keep coming back for the baked goods and well-organized events.

The food was tasty, but the service left much to be desired; it wasn't particularly friendly. Prawan at the counter repeatedly responded with "I don't know" when asked whether the soups were freshly made. The most disappointing aspect was the high prices for such small portions. The sandwich I ordered had a tiny chunk of meat, just one slice of cheese, a disc of tomato, and a piece of lettuce—it was incredibly thin and mostly bread. (The photo shows half of the sandwich.) At $12, it didn't even come with a side or chips. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning.

My chicken pesto sandwich didn't have any pesto on it, and it was cold as well. The desserts here are usually quite good, but the last time I visited, they were not up to par.

Overall I like fatters better than panera bakery. the prices are somewhat lower, the portions are larger, and there are more choices on brot. my favorite salad is the truthahn cranberry sunflower seed. the most amazing is that the truthahn, although not hot from the one, is about the freshest I had in restaurantsalate. their salads are made fresh while they wait. that may be frustrating for some people, but I'm glad they don't all sit somewhere in a cooler. the southwest is a good salate, like the huhn del mondo. I'm not a fan of her cookies because they are too doughy for me. but if you want to, you will like them. I like their bars, especially the peanut butter double deckers. the brownies are also delicious! I suspect that the eclairs would be tasty if they got them on the day they were made. but they seem to store them or maybe they just keep them in the case for so long.

Nice selection of sandwiches. Just had the club and the bread was sooo fresh! It was very good and I was able to only eat half at the restaurant. The second half will be my dinner. Thank you. I will return to sample some of your other items.
